Students in Singapore’s banking sector can now benefit from premium cyber security training expertise at a significantly subsidised rate, under the Institute of Banking and Finance (IBF) Financial Training Scheme.
Red Education has announced that it has been appointed as a Registered Centre under the IBF Financial Training Scheme. Network security students can now participate in Check Point Certified Admin (CCSA) R80.x certification training and receive a subsidy of $2,000 from the IBF.
“Red Education’s appointment as an IBF FTS is important news for cyber security professionals in the Singapore banking sector,” said Red Education Managing Director, Mike Baird.
“The $2,000 contribution by the IBF makes this premium Check Point certification available to many more students. That’s great for the students and great for the businesses they work for, further improving their resilience against cyber attack.”
Check Point Certified Admin (CCSA) certification
Students of the Check Point Certified Admin (CCSA) R80.x will learn how to defend their company against network threats, monitor suspicious network activities and analyze attacks. They will be able to troubleshoot network connections, implement Check Point backup techniques, evaluate existing security policies and optimize the rule base, as well as manage user access to corporate LANs.
Subsidised course fees until 30 June 2021
Students wishing to register for the Check Point Certified Admin (CCSA) course should find out more through the IBF website.
Students need to apply by 30 June 2021 to receive the subsidy.
