Red Education Privacy Statement

Our organization places a high value on the security and privacy of all information we handle. We adhere to the principles of privacy by design and default, and our risk assessment process provides transparency regarding the use of your data. We take measures to ensure data is protected both in transit and at rest, and we do not retain it for any longer than necessary to provide our services. Should you require it, we are happy to provide an Assurance statement detailing the security measures and controls we have implemented.

Red Education’s methodology for risk assessment and treatment, as well as our incident management procedure, reflect our commitment to continuous development and incorporate best practices for privacy and PII management. We engage with our customers through various means, such as developing new products, responding to requests, verifying identification, conducting surveys, and seeking feedback to enhance and manage our products and services. Training Cancellation

TRAINING CANCELLATION Red Education reserves the right to modify or temporarily suspend use of the Red Education Training and Packaged Services or portions thereof.

CANCELLATION BY RED EDUCATION In the event that Red Education deems it necessary to cancel or reschedule a course because of force majeure or other unforeseeable circumstances (for example, in the case of accident or illness of the instructor). Red Education will make every effort to place you onto another set of course dates. Red Education is not liable for any travel and lodging expenses and will not credit or refund an order under these circumstances. Red Education reserves the right to cancel or change course locations and times, but as much notice will be given as possible. Red Education will not be liable for any losses and liability is limited to a free resit (refer our Training Guarantee).

**RESCHEDULING BY CUSTOMER **Once the Red Education training or professional service is scheduled (including using training credits), Customer’s reschedule shall be subject to the provisions below.

Notice Rescheduling Fees If Customer notifies Red Education fifteen (15) or more days prior to the scheduled services No rescheduling charges. If Customer notifies Red Education in between seven and fourteen (7 – 14) days of the scheduled services 50% of the invoiced fee is due as a rescheduling charge. If Customer notifies Red Education within seven (7) days of the scheduled services 100% of the invoiced fees is payable.

CANCELLATION BY CUSTOMER If a customer cancels a Purchase Order that has been invoiced by Red Education due to a change of circumstance beyond Red Education’s control, the cancellation shall be subject to the provisions below.

Notice Cancellation Fees If Customer cancels the order fifteen (15) or more days prior to the scheduled services 25% of the invoiced fee applies. If Customer notifies Red Education within fourteen (14) days of the scheduled services 100% of the invoiced fees is payable.

NO-SHOWS

In the case of a no-show, the full fee will be forfeited and a refund will NOT be given. A no-show is when a registration is made and the student doesn’t attend the course nor cancels it. If a participant fails to attend the registered date due to illness, they can reschedule to attend the same course at a new date upon submission of a medical certificate. A cancellation charge will not be levied in this case.

STUDENT SUBSTITUTION

Customer may substitute an Employee registered to attend a course with another Employee, provided that: – Red Education receives a notification from the customer of this substitution within Four (4) business days of the relevant scheduled training. If the notification is received less than Four (4) business days prior to the relevant scheduled training an admin fee of $250 AUD will be charged direct to the student. – The Substituting Employee meets the course prerequisites, if any.

MANUALS/ E-MANUALS

Customers are advised that if they register for a course within two weeks of the course running we cannot guarantee a paper manual.

Scholarships

  1. Scholarship Value: The Red Education Women in Cybersecurity Scholarships 2024 will award four scholarships – two at RLP US$5000 each for Palo Alto Networks: EDU-210, two at RLP US$3250 each for  Check Point Certified Security Administrator)
  2. Certification Voucher: In addition to the training 2 Certification exam vouchers at RLP US$155 each for Palo Alto Networks PCNSA Certification, and two Certification exam vouchers at RLP US$250 each for Check Point CCSA Certification are included.
  3. Eligibility: The scholarship is open to female final-year undergraduate students, postgraduate students, and early-career professionals in the information technology field.
  4. Non-Transferable: The scholarship is non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash or any other form of payment.
  5. Validity: The scholarship is valid only for the individual recipient and applies exclusively to the specific courses listed in the scholarship program for public schedules.
  6. Training Completion Deadline: Students who are awarded the scholarship must complete their training by the end of the calendar year 2024.
  7. Failure to Complete: Failure to complete the training by the designated deadline may result in the forfeiture of the scholarship and any associated benefits.
  8. Training Cancellation Red Education reserves the right to modify or temporarily suspend use of the Red Education Training and Packaged Services or portions thereof.
  9. Application Process: Applicants must submit all required documents and fulfill the eligibility criteria as outlined by Red Education. Incomplete or late applications may not be considered.
  10. Selection Process: Recipients will be selected based on criteria determined by Red Education, which may include academic achievements, demonstrated interest in cybersecurity, and potential for future contributions to the field.
  11. Notification: Successful applicants will be notified via email or other contact methods provided during the application process. Unsuccessful applicants may not be individually notified.
  12. Acceptance: Recipients must accept the scholarship within the specified timeframe and comply with any additional requirements as outlined by Red Education.
  13. Publicity: By accepting the scholarship, recipients agree to participate in any publicity or promotional activities as requested by Red Education, which may include but are not limited to, interviews, testimonials, and social media posts.
  14. Modification: Red Education reserves the right to modify or cancel the scholarship program at any time without prior notice.
  15. Governing Law: These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Red Education operates.
  16. Excluded Countries: Students from the following countries are ineligible to receive the scholarship: Cuba, Iran, Syria, North Korea, Crimea, Luhansk, and Donetsk. It is important to note that scholarships are not available to individuals residing in these specified countries.

Special offers are region exclusive. Always check with your account manager whether an offer is applicable in your region especially if you are located in India and SAARC countries.

WEBSITE PROMOTIONS

Promotions/ flash sales on the website can be redeemed through purchases via the website and could be specific to certain vendors and courses only.

PAYMENT

  • Bookings for your seat will only be guaranteed once we receive payment in full.
  • Red Education reserves the right to cancel your booking or seat if payment is not received in full, prior to course commencement.
  • Payment may be made by credit card; however, surcharges will be included 1.5% for ANZ; and 3% for other regions.
  • Any local taxes or bank fees, if applicable, will also be payable where applicable.
  • If any deduction or withholding is required by law, Customer shall notify Red Education and shall pay Red Education any additional amounts necessary to ensure that the net amount that Red Education receives, after any deduction and withholding, equals the amount, Red Education would have received if no deduction or withholding had been required. Additionally, Customer shall provide Red Education with documentation showing that the withheld and deducted amounts have been paid to the relevant taxing authority.

  • All training credit orders must be invoiced in full at the time of purchase and paid as per Red Education’s payment terms. EXPIRATION TERMS
  • All courses registered for must be completed within 90 days of the Purchase Order date to Red Education.
  • All Training Credits purchased have an expiry date of 12 months from the Purchase Order date to Red Education.
