This course will enable you to install and configure an ExtremeCloud SD-WAN solution including the major Site types: Bridge mode, Router mode, Hybrid mode and Remote Visibility Control (RVC) Site. You will gain an understanding of the concepts and functionality of the SD-WAN architecture through comprehensive lectures and discussions. By performing the labs, you will experience onboarding the appliances with ExtremeCloud SD-WAN Orchestrator and validating network application flow.

This course relies upon the successful completion of the ExtremeCloud SD-WAN Installation and Configuration course and related labs. You will build on this SD-WAN configuration to analyze the WAN application traffic flows and their distribution among major site types: Bridge mode, Router mode, Hybrid mode and Remote Visibility & Control (RVC). Students will learn methods to enhance their existing switching and routing environment with security, traffic optimization, automation, and integration features. Several network management tasks will be exercised. This knowledge will be reinforced through actual hands-on experience with networking equipment in a lab environment, where students will perform real world tasks

Students will learn methods to properly deploy and configure their switching and routing environments using the ExtremeXOS/SwitchEngine CLI. This knowledge will be reinforced through actual hands-on experience with networking equipment in a lab environment, where students will perform real world tasks.

Students will learn methods to prepare their switching and routing environment for management with ExtremeCloud™ IQ, ExtremeCloud IQ - Site Engine or capable 3rd party management solutions. Several network management tasks will be exercised. This knowledge will be reinforced through actual hands-on experience with networking equipment in a lab environment, where students will perform real world tasks.

Students will learn troubleshooting methodology as well as the troubleshooting toolkit available to Network Engineers and ExtremeXOS/SwitchEngine Administrators.
