Course Overview
1. Multi-Domain Security Management Architecture:
Participants will gain a deep understanding of the architecture of Multi-Domain Security Management (MDSM) and how it enables the management of multiple security domains from a single Security Management Server (SMS).
2. Configuration and Implementation:
Participants will learn how to configure and implement MDSM, including domain creation, domain objects, the multi-domain log server, methods to implement global policy, and MDSM server issues. You will also learn how to integrate MDSM with Check Point’s multi-domain management tool and other troubleshooting tools and techniques.
3. Policy Management:
Participants will learn how to manage policies across domains using MDSM. You will learn about policy packages, how to create and edit policies, and how to apply policies to different domains across multiple network security environments.
4. Security Management Server:
Students will gain an in-depth understanding of the Security Management Server (SMS), including how to install, configure, and manage it. They will also learn about SMS features, such as user management, auditing, and reporting.
5. Troubleshooting:
Students will learn how to troubleshoot common issues related to MDSM, including issues related to policy management, domain communication, and Security Management Servers.
