Global IT training provider Red Education has been honoured twice in this year’s International Business Awards®, also known as the Stevie® Awards. The accolades were awarded for the company’s corporate social responsibility program and also for its contribution to closing the dangerous worldwide cybersecurity skills gap.
International Business Award for Corporate Social Responsibility
Red Education was named a winner of the 2024 International Business Award for Achievement in Corporate Social Responsibility for its holistic, international CSR program, supporting charities with impact on improving life in the regions that contribute to the company’s growth. These programs enrich the student experience by demonstrating that they are learning with a company grounded in strong values. Red Education staff are equally motivated, knowing that each sale contributes positively to the community.
Stevie Award winners were determined by the average scores of more than 300 executives worldwide who participated in the judging process in June and July.
In this category, the judges described Red Education’s commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) as “highly impressive”, noting:
“The company’s global outreach, dedication to cybersecurity training, and focus on making a positive impact in various regions set them apart as a socially responsible organization in the IT industry. Since the beginning of 2022, Red Education has made significant strides in their CSR efforts. Initiatives like supporting the Sri Sathya Sai Annapoorna Trust in India, collaborating with Greenfleet to offset carbon emissions, and partnering with Laptops4Learning to provide laptops to economically disadvantaged students in the Americas showcase the company’s dedication to improving lives and addressing social challenges. The launch of the Red Education Women in Cybersecurity Training Scholarships in 2024 demonstrates their proactive stance in promoting diversity and supporting women in the technology sector, where they are traditionally underrepresented.”
