This article is a step-by-step guide to show you exactly what to do to redeem your CLCs with Red Education and benefit from learning with our trusted, award-winning instructors. Step 1 Choose your Cisco Training Course

Step 2 Enter the Cisco Learning Locator

Once you have decided which Cisco training course is right for you, you need to open your Cisco Learning Locator which you’ll find here: https://learninglocator.cloudapps.cisco.com/#/ce-credit-courses. This takes you to the list of eligible courses that will let you earn Continuing Education Credits and that have an active class offering.

Step 3 Choose Your Cisco Training Course

Your next step is to search for the course you need on the Learning Locator. Type in the course name, eg CCNA and you will see the list of Virtual Classroom (and Classroom) options available to you.

Step 4: Select Red Education as your course provider

Once you have entered the course and chosen the Delivery Type that you want, you now need to scroll down the list of providers until you find Red Education.

Step 5: Specify that you want to use Cisco Learning Credits to enrol

Now that you have chosen Red Education as your training provider for the course you want to take, you will see two options at the end of the row:

  • Enrol: This takes you to the Red Education website
  • Enrol using CLCs: This is the option you need to pay with CLCs.

Step 6 Proceed to Check Out

Once you have selected the ‘Enrol with CLCs’ option, you simply need to follow the website prompts to purchase your course with CLCs. At this stage, the course is transacted and Red Education is notified of your purchase.

Step 7: Red Education will contact you to confirm your nominated training

Next you will hear from Red Education confirming your training and outlining what the next steps will be. And that’s it! Simple, really. You are on your way to being Cisco Certified, ready to optimise your organisation’s investment in Cisco technology and to take the next step in advancing your career. Perhaps the most important thing to remember at this point is that Cisco Learning Credits are valid for 12 months from purchase, and the course you chose must be completed during that 12 months.
