Prerequisites

This is open to anyone with a basic understanding of networking concepts and the desire to learn more about cybersecurity.Before enrolling, it is recommended that you have some experience working with Check Point technologies such as Security Management Server (SMS) or GAIA (Linux OS). Course Overview

Cybersecurity teams are responsible for implementing a strategy, maintaining cybersecurity measures such as firewalls, antivirus software, and encryption, as well as monitoring systems for signs of potential attacks, network threats and responding to any security breaches that occur. They may also be responsible for educating employees about cybersecurity best practices and conducting risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities in systems and across cloud services.

In this course, you will learn the basic concepts and skills necessary to configure Check Point Security Gateway and Management Software Blades. During this course, you will configure a security policy and learn about managing and monitoring a secure network, upgrading and configuring a security gateway, and implementing a virtual private network (VPN).
