This national outdoor advertising company, was preparing for the integration of a new SD-WAN solution. With a deployment scheduled in just a month’s time, the client’s network engineers faced a significant challenge. They were unfamiliar with many of the management and deployment concepts related to their new SD-WAN solution, having only previously worked with Palo Alto Networks Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW) and Prisma products. Without certified training on the new technology, the team was unsure how to efficiently configure, maintain, and utilise their wide area networks spanning from data centres to branch offices and the cloud.

To address these challenges, Red Education provided a tailored training programme: the Palo Alto Networks Prisma SD-WAN: Design and Operation (EDU-238) course. This premium, instructor-led training spanned five days and included hands-on virtual labs, allowing the client’s Senior Network Engineer to build practical experience in real-world scenarios. The training covered critical aspects of configuring Prisma SD-WAN across different environments, from branch offices to data centres, and how to set up policies and utilise various Prisma SD-WAN services.
Outcomes
Following the training, the client achieved a solid understanding of key SD-WAN concepts and gained practical experience in deploying and managing the new solution. The Senior Network Engineer reported that the course was wellstructured and effectively taught, with valuable insights from the instructor, who drew upon extensive experience with Prisma SD-WAN and Prisma Access for SASE implementations. The training ultimately enabled the client to confidently proceed with their SD-WAN integration, ensuring a smooth deployment and enhanced network management capabilities.

Great course! Was not sure what to expect, but Brian went above and beyond. He was very knowledgeable on the subject and clarified any information that students did not understand from the manual.
