High-impact Fortinet training at scale for a global IT leader

Challenges
Our customer is a multinational IT services and consulting powerhouse. It employs over 200,000 professionals across 60 countries, delivering advanced services in digital transformation, engineering and R&D, cloud, AI, software and infrastructure management, supported by a suite of proprietary platforms and technologies.
The customer needed to upskill a large team in Fortinet, a global cybersecurity leader known for high-performance solutions that protect data, devices and networks across a wide range of environments. The organization had secured a large deal but needed a team of certified Fortinet engineers in order to be able to complete the project.
Because of the scale of their operations, the training engagement came with a unique challenge. The customer required a minimum of 20 participants per group, creating significantly large class sizes. Supporting such groups demanded careful planning and coordination, particularly in delivering hands-on lab support and addressing individual questions alongside theoretical instruction.
The group was also diverse, ranging from new recruits to seasoned professionals. To ensure everyone could keep pace and benefit equally, we began with the fundamentals, starting from basic firewall concepts, before moving into the core topics outlined in the curriculum. This progression helped bridge the knowledge gap and prepared all participants to engage with the full depth of the training content.

Red Education delivered FCP Fundamentals FortiGate Administrator training. This engagement was notable for an exceptionally large number of participants, a scale not previously encountered for this program.
Throughout the course, participants took part in hands-on, interactive labs covering key FortiGate features including firewall policies, VPNs, user authentication, security profiles and the Fortinet Security Fabric.
