Challenges

The client was working with Check Point software technology but no formal training in the product had taken place. Support therefore had to be pushed back to the distributor, a time-consuming process that lead to significant delays and downtime.
Meanwhile, country’s critical security services were left vulnerable because of a lack of training.

solutions

Senior account manager, Irwan Foo, and experienced trainer, Alan Lee, worked closely with the government department to develop a training roadmap equipping engineers with the necessary skillsets to manage issues on their own and be able to configure and run the firewalls with reduced dependency on their channel partners.

The training roadmap included Check Point CCSA and CCSE courses and eventually will lead to troubleshooting courses.

Outcomes

Thanks to the roadmap and expert training skills of Senior Instructor Alan Lee, the client’s team were equipped with the knowledge on how to properly configure and use the various functions of the Check Point technology in which the organisation had invested.
