This customer operates in the telecommunications sector, supporting large-scale mobile and digital services within a fast-growing African market.
Before engaging Red Education, the organization was facing a narrow window to deliver specialist cybersecurity training. Their Palo Alto Networks Training Credits were close to expiry, leaving limited flexibility around timing and delivery schedules. Delaying was not viable, but proceeding without the right expertise would have reduced the value of the investment.
At the same time, there was a skills gap within the security team. While staff had solid cybersecurity foundations, they lacked hands-on experience with security orchestration and automation workflows within their security operations. This limited their ability to confidently design and manage automated incident response processes.
There were also delivery considerations to manage. The training needed to be delivered within a compressed timeframe and by an instructor with deep knowledge of the specific platform being taught. For the organization, it was essential that the course remained relevant, well-paced, and interactive, despite the scheduling pressure.

To address these requirements, Red Education delivered EDU-380 training focused on Palo Alto Networks Cortex™ XSOAR 6.8, covering automation, orchestration, and incident response workflows relevant to day-to-day security operations.
Careful planning ensured the right expertise was available for the engagement. When scheduling constraints arose, adjustments were made internally to ensure the most suitable trainer could lead the course. This meant reallocating resources so that Attique Batti, whose experience closely matched the organization’s needs, could deliver the training as planned.
The course was delivered to a group of cybersecurity professionals with mixed experience levels. Throughout the program, participant progress was closely monitored, with concepts revisited where needed to reinforce understanding. Questions specific to automation playbooks and orchestration workflows were addressed during the sessions, helping participants connect the training directly to their operational responsibilities.
