Blue Coat Reporter Course
Duration: 0.5 day (4 hours)
This class is Available both as a classroom and as a virtual instructor-led course.
Audience: IT network professionals with responsibilities for the installation and administration of Reporter in order to manage
Blue Coat ProxySG appliances and analyze access logs in their network.
Pre-requisites: Students should have taken the BCCPA course and passed the exam. Additionally, students should have an advanced
knowledge of networking and be familiar with Access Logging.
Topics Covered: The course will begin by introducing students to Reporter and what it can do to help their company. Students will then learn
how to install and configure Reporter, how reporter uses Access Logs from the ProxySG, and how and what reports are
generated. The course will also cover Reporter system architecture to give students a better understanding of
Reporter’s components. The course will end with a discussion about deploying Reporter in local and global reporting
environments, giving students an idea about how Reporter can be used in a wide range of situations
